Winter Defiance Barbecue VIII

Time to blog again.

The Winter Defiance Barbecue was held at my house this past weekend. This would be the 8th yearly edition. For those new readers out there, the Winter Defiance Barbecue is a yearly event where we have a barbecue... outside... in the middle of... you guessed it... winter.

It was held much later than in previous years. It was always held between Christmas and New Year. But this year's edition was postponed because I spent my holidays in California (see the post on the longest day of my life) . That's fine, February is usually considered to be much more winter than December. So that gives us more winter to defy.

However, Mother Nature is doing a great job defying winter without our help. There was still snow on the ground, but the temperature was barely below zero. Even still, I don't know if we're just getting smarter or weaker, but most of us weren't really in the spirit of the WDBBQ. Everyone wore a jacket and tuque.

Anyway, food was great. We had burgers, hot dogs, chicken and shrimp on a stick. After the barbecue, we had dessert, a delicious raspberry chocolate mousse cake from Premiere Moisson and some homemade mango and green tea ice cream.

Then we all hung out in the living and played Gamecube and watched funny videos from various sites:
